Our Privacy Pledge
At West Coast Bank, we believe that when you disclose your personal,
nonpublic information with us, you do so because you want us to

Our Maintenance and Protection of Accurate Information
We consider the accuracy of your personal information important
in ensuring that we can provide the right products and services
for your unique needs. We have procedures geared towards ensuring
that the information we maintain is accurate, remaining free from
alteration or destruction. In addition, we understand that the accuracy
of this information is also very important to our customers. Please
notify us if you receive information regarding your relationship
with us that you believe to be inaccurate. .

From time to time, in order to provide our customers with the best
products and services available, we may disclose information regarding
our customers with the following types of third parties: other financial
service providers (limited to our West Coast Bancorp affiliates,
and to financial service providers with which we have joint marketing
arrangements), and non-financial service companies (limited to service
companies that we hire to assist us in providing marketing, support,
or services for one of our products).
Within the West Coast Bancorp family (currently including West
Coast Trust), we disclose information only in accordance with strict
internal security standards and confidentiality policies and with
applicable law. We do this so that we can better use the expertise
held by these affiliates. We may disclose all of the information
that we collect, as described above. While we believe this information
disclosure is of benefit to you, if do not wish for us to disclose
your information between our affiliated companies, we will gladly

At times, it is necessary for us to provide personally identifiable
information about our customers to third parties, such as service
companies that we hire to assist us in providing support or services
for one of our products. In addition, we have agreements with several
other financial institutions to provide joint product offerings.
In order for these services to be of benefit to you, we may disclose
all of the information we collect, as described above, to these
companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or with
which we have joint marketing agreements. These companies agree
to safeguard our confidential customer information and they must
abide by applicable law.
We may also disclose all of the nonpublic personal information
that we collect, as described above, to nonaffiliated third parties
as permitted by law. For example, this may include disclosure of
information to credit bureaus, in connection with legal process,
or the sale of your account to another financial institution.
Privacy and You
All descriptions in this privacy policy apply to our relationships
with individuals and their personal, family, or household accounts
with us. Given the different nature of relationships between businesses,
not all of these privacy provisions apply to our relationships with
commercial customers. While the nature of these relationships is
different, we remain committed to respecting our commercial customers'
privacy. We maintain the same standards of privacy protection for
our former customers as we do for current customers (including categories
of information we may disclose and the categories of parties to
whom we restrict our information disclosure). We may amend this
